Mr. S. Ononauju charishes his Igbo culture hence brought up with ‘Nze’ man of title
Peacemaker and Traditional Chief of the Igboland.

He started dancing the cultural dance at the age of 10 and by the age of  17 he then was ready to start composing both traditional- and christian music. At the same time trained youngsters with their Acrobatic acts during yearly traditional festivals.

Through passion for music dancing and singing is a part of his identity. He released his first gospel-album at the age of 20 in the Republic of Nigeria. The album expressed his authentic Christian faith rooted at his traditional African upbringing.
 
Since the Nigerian Cultural Dance Group is an unique expression and way of communication of  values of the homeland, it makes him feel at ease.
