All our music and dances has a meaning where the music comes from and what it represents. And in what occasions and periods these musics are been played.
The singing part of our music, brings us and the public back to the time of our ancestors and our fore fathers. when every movement, events etc has a song that represents it. when happiness and sadness is been expressed in songs.
When through the songs you will know the mode of the village and the people who songs them. When every fase in mans life has its musics and songs that expressed it. As it was, so shall it be and so shall we leave them.
In every performance or rehearsal, we must ask permission from our ancestors.To lead, help and protect us in exhibiting our culture and the culture of our fore fathers. so that the mistakes we may make when doing this will not be a repercussion |
